Freddy Terranova is a former collegiate wrestler, coach, hunter, and digital media sales professional. A new Jersey Native, Freddy was a New Jersey High School State Qualifier, multiple year varsity starter for Augustana College, was Top 5 in all collegiate divisions for technical falls, and continues coaching and developing athletes at Young Guns Wrestling Club, alongside myself and Eric Juergens. 
In today's episode, get to know Freedy as we discuss his wrestling journey, the life lessons and implications of being a dedicated athlete, hunting, the digital marketing/advertising industry, and how to stay disciplined and motivated through life's challenges.

Cross Cannone is a realtor, former NCAA Division-3 wrestler, and wrestling coach. A Connecticut native, Cross holds the Trumbull High School record for most wins (168), winning 2 State Titles and reaching the New England State Finals twice. At Wartburg College, Cross was a 3x All-American and National Champion (2nd, 1st, 3rd) with a career record of 118-11, winning 63 matches in a row.

A Mason City native, Cullan Schriever is 3x Iowa High School State Champion and former Iowa Hawkeye Wrestler. An Iowa wrestling household name, Cullan maintained a 4.1 GPA while battling in and out of the Hawk's starting lineup. He received honors such as Academic All-Big Ten, Dean’s List, President’s List, and the J. Donald McPike Award for highest senior GPA. Cullan currently works as a Portfolio Analyst at United Iowa Financial, helping deliver thoughtful investment strategies and financial planning rooted in precision and discipline to clients. 
 
We hop in Cullan's brand new sauna and discuss his wrestling career, injuries, strength training, resilience, and the embodiment of what it means to be an Iowa Hawkeye wrestler.

Reece “Highlight” Humphrey is a former American freestyle wrestler who competed for the men's freestyle 60 kg at the World Wrestling Championships 2013 in Budapest, Hungary. He was eliminated in the quarterfinal rounds, after being defeated by Iran's Masoud Esmaeilpour, based on the decision score 9–8. He is a 3x national USA World Team Member and wrestling champion in 2011, 2013 and 2015. New York Athletic Club International Open champion 2011.  Humphrey is also an Indiana high school state champion, a Freestyle and Greco-Roman national champion, and 2x All-American out of the Ohio State University (2009 runner-up and 2010 3rd place).  At the 2015 World Championships he beat world bronze medalist Daulet Niyazbekov of Kazakhstan, but lost in the second round to Mongolia's Batboldyn Nomin, Batboldyn reached the final, Humphrey then lost to bronze world medalist Bajrang Punia of India in the first round of repechage.

Dan Terronez is an Assistant Wrestling Coach at St. Ambrose University and Master of Business Administration. As an athlete, he was a 2023 NAIA National Qualifier, reached the round of 12 at the 2021 NWCA D3 National Tournament, and is a 3-time All-CCIW and Heart of America All-Conference honoree. Dan earned recognition as a 2-time Scholar All-American and was named Wrestler of the Year at both Augustana College and St. Ambrose University. Outside of competition, he is an Account Manager in the Dental IT field, as well as a community advocate, serving on the board of the Palomares Social Justice Center and as a member of the Lideramos Latino Leadership Program.

Lydia Frazier is a psychotherapist and lifelong yogi. She is opening a new business, Zen Den, in Iowa City in September of 2025 and will offer private contrast therapy services with a traditional cedar sauna and cold plunge barrel inside a gorgeous screened-in porch. Zen Den was cultivated with love and a passion for contrast therapy and a holistic approach to wellness. It is a serene space for individuals, couples, or two friends to recover, relax, and rejuvenate the body, mind, and soul.

Jon Reader is the current Head Assistant Coach at the University of Wisconsin. During his collegiate career at Iowa State, Jon was a 3x All-American, 4x NCAA National Qualifier, and the 174 lbs. National Champion in 2011. Reader was also a mainstay on the international circuit as he was a member of the University World Team in both 2010 and 2012, and represented the U.S. at the 2012 University World Championship in Kuortane, Finland. Reader also won the 2012 Hari Ram Grand Prix gold medal at 84 kg. He also competed in the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials in the 86-kilogram weight class  and was a Pan-American Silver Medalist in 2009. Reader had a two-year stint as a volunteer coach at his alma mater, Iowa State. In his time at ISU, he coached three All-Americans and saw the Cyclones place 11th at the 2013 NCAA Championships. He also played a key role in fundraising forthe Cyclone Wrestling Club and coordinated summer camps.
Jon Reader has been a part of the rebuilding process at Wisconsin, joining the Badgers in April of 2018. In his two years at Wisconsin, Reader has helped coach six All-Americans and 12 NCAA qualifiers.

4x All-American Brandon Murray is a current RTC wrestler at Iowa State University, Personal Trainer, and former collegiate wrestler. Brandon was a 2x JUCO All-American for Iowa Central College, and 2x Division III All-American for Loras College, helping lead his team to a second-place finish at the NCAA National Tournament.
